Welcome to the Cayce Lodge 384! To ensure a fun and fair environment for everyone, we ask all participants and attendees to follow these rules of conduct. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will help make this event enjoyable for everyone involved.
General Rules
Respect for All Participants
Treat fellow players, attendees, and tournament staff with courtesy and respect. Unsportsmanlike behavior, including harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind, will not be tolerated.
Sportsmanship
Display good sportsmanship at all times, whether winning or losing. Congratulate opponents on their performance and avoid negative or hostile reactions.
Fair Play
Cheating, hacking, or any form of unfair play is strictly prohibited. Any participant caught engaging in such activities will be disqualified from the tournament.
Alcohol-Free Environment
The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the tournament venue. Anyone found with alcohol will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
Smoking/Vaping in designated areas (outside) only for those of legal age to consume tobaco/vape products.
Follow Instructions
Please adhere to all instructions given by tournament staff. They are here to ensure the tournament runs smoothly and fairly. Non-compliance may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
Respect the Venue
Keep the venue clean and tidy. Dispose of any trash in designated bins and be mindful of the property. Any damages caused to the venue will be the responsibility of the individual involved.
Health and Safety
Prioritize your well-being and the safety of others. Report any injuries or unsafe conditions to tournament staff immediately.
No Outside Food or Drink
Please refrain from bringing outside food or beverages into the venue. Concessions may be available on-site for your convenience.
Prohibited Items
Weapons, illegal substances, and other prohibited items are not allowed on the premises. Violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion and notification of local authorities if necessary.
Photography and Recording
By attending the tournament, you consent to being photographed or recorded by official staff for promotional purposes. Unauthorized photography or recording of participants is prohibited without consent.
Tournament-Specific Rules
Check-In and Registration
Participants must check in and register at the designated time and location. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Match Scheduling
Be present and ready to play at your scheduled match time. If you are not present within 10 minutes of your scheduled time, you may forfeit the match.
Equipment and Setup
If players are bringing their equipment (controllers, headsets, etc.). Ensure your equipment is in working order before the tournament begins.
Technical Issues
Report any technical issues immediately to the tournament staff. Deliberate manipulation of equipment to cause disruptions is prohibited.
Game Rules
Follow the specific game rules outlined for each tournament match. Any breach of game-specific rules may result in penalties or disqualification.
Results and Disputes
Match results are final. Any disputes must be reported to tournament staff immediately for review. The staff's decision on disputes is final.
Consequences for Violations
Warning: Minor infractions may result in a verbal or written warning.
Disqualification: Serious or repeated violations may result in disqualification from the tournament.
Expulsion: Severe misconduct may result in immediate removal from the venue and future events.
